It all started with a pure heart!
It all started with a pure heart—a heart that beats to become a good steward of God; a heart whose passion is to develop products which are derived from our rich Philippine endemic plants for good health and nutrition; a heart that pulsates courage and stamina through the convergence of my 20 years of experience in pharmaceutical business and 3 years in agricultural research. This brave heart gave rise to the birth of Purelife Food Processing by the grace of God.
Purelife Food Processing (PFP) started humbly as a DTI-registered micro-enterprise on January 27, 2020, but registered double-digit growth rates annually for the past three (3) years. Year 2023 was the first milestone in achieving over PHP 5.3 million in gross sales. This achievement was made possible with the unwavering support and teamwork of all Purelife staff, the relentless efforts of DTI R4A-Quezon, the reliable technical assistance of DOST R4A-Quezon, and our long-term collaboration with the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist since Y2018.
Moving forward last Y2024, we remained committed to serving the Filipino community and developed natural or organic products for good health and nutrition. Our first product, Oye Natural Calamansi Juice drink had a new variant that was rolled out to market in schools to help address the increasing malnutrition among growing students in a friendly affordable pack. We also obtained our FDA-LTO as a food manufacturer on June 19, 2024. Last July 2024, we released Oye Natural Kamokasi Juice, another healthy plant-based natural beverage which was a combination of a leafy vegetable that abounds in Quezon Province and surrounding provinces and a pinch of calamansi extract that was a go-get item on the shelves with its attractive fuchsia natural color and its unique veggie fruity taste. Through the cooperation, resilience, and dynamism of our employees, the enterprise— from start-up to the present—has grown in modest pace. Last Y2025, Oye Natural Beverage has expanded into Oye Natural Food and Beverage with the addition of Oye Natural Calamansi Pulp Muffins, and Oye Natural Kracklings (Sweet Potato and Squash).
Our registered trademark brand, Oye Natural Calamansi Juice drink, is now available in chain of stores, groceries, school canteens, hospital canteens, and restaurants. We are proud to be one of the accredited suppliers of the prestigious and one of the country’s biggest concessionaire and caterer Kitchen City. This paved way to our market entry in industrial accounts like St Luke’s Medical Center-BGC and other industrial accounts in Cavite, Laguna, and Batangas. With our collaboration and aggressive marketing support to Kitchen City, we are praying to penetrate at least 5% of more than 1000 accounts of the firm this Y2026. With the approval of our FDA LTO as food manufacturer and our Halal certification, we are now preparing and moving entry to mainstream markets. We humbly pray to God for wisdom, guidance and protection in our journey as an enterprise.
